It is a perfect day to drive a convertible. The weather is warm and breezy that I don’t even need to roll up the windows when I take the top down. It is a comfortable feeling which I just feel peachy. Sometimes, I don’t understand why people take the top down in a 60ish temperature while wearing a winter jacket.
I have had my Corvette C5 for 10 years. She is not a young hottie anymore. Instead, she got Alzheimer’s disease like no ABS, Active Handling. The doctor (my car dealership) says it will cost me $3800 to fix them and I figure as long as the brake is still functional, I really don’t give it a damn.
I need to take care of some other disease such as air conditioner is leaking Freon and the damage is $1200 to replace the compressor. Can you drive a car without A/C in Taiwan?
The bottom line is that a Corvette is still a Corvette. You cannot compare a Corvette to a BMW Z4 or even Porsche Boxster. Corvette is a sports car and Z4 is only a roadster. Porsche’s Boxster is an entry level sports car and this is the maximum credit I can give.
What do you feel about if you have 450 HP and 350 Torque of thrust between your leg? I have two words for you – Fucking Irresistible.
Btw, It took me 3.5 hours for my round trip commute. I don’t need a Corvette, I need a bicycle instead.
