The buzz words for your resume this year are
1. Cloud computing
2. Agile software development process.
If you are looking for an IT job and your resume does not have these words, you are shit out of luck already. If your resume has one word, you can bet you will get a formal interview. If you have both and you enclose a cover letter stating that you have a warm body, you can assume the hiring manager will call you and ask if you can start tomorrow.
My client is a small company with 200+ employee but we have both cloud computing and Agile process. I guess our IT staffs haven't smoked enough pot yet so we are still on the ground, not fly up to the clouds yet.
If you ask me what the difference are between "water fall" and Agile processes, my answer is that project manager is no longer called PM in Agile, they are called "Scrum master". I think I need to go back to smoke more pot so I can explain better to you guys.
