(1) what do ignorant people have in common? ignorance. what else?
the more ignorant they are, the more they have in common. tons of ignorance, that is.
(2) overestimating people is a mistake i often make.
darn, can't remind myself often enough that most people aren't half as courteous, warm, reciprocative, pleasant, reasonable, logical, intelligent, humorous, compassionate, well read, widely traveled, and properly brought up as i'd think they are.
(3) prince of the pits, richard dennis, is now phantom of the pits. he very rarely talks about futures trading but when he does one'd better listen.
he says once you are in the market, get out if the market doesn't prove you right. never wait for the market to prove you wrong.
now, that's tons of experience and wisdom condensed to a few words, offered for free. no wonder it's called the phantom's gift.
