I order a Lenovo Ideapad on 11/09 with their 72 hours special which is supposed to be a heck of deal. The original shipping date was around 11/22 and I still haven't got after the Thanksgiving.
So I called the customer service; to my surprise, I only waited for less than 5 minutes and an Indian chick answered the call who referred me to call their US office due to some parts are no longer available. It sounds peachy and the nightmare just started.
Another Indian guy answered my call when I called their Sales office in North Carolina. This guy said he will give me a upgraded laptop due to the machine I order is no longer available and he will give me the order number the second day. Guess what? I have never heard this motherfucker in my life time. I called him twice a day for the entire week and all I got is his voice mail.
I was pretty pissy so I called the Sales office again. Another guy picked up my call and apologized for all the delay. He did a better job this time cos he generate a new order and promised I will get it before Christmas.
Of course, I didn't get before Christmas, so I call the sales office again after the Christmas. Another guy answered the call and gave me a better machine and promised I should get it around New Year.
I finally got my laptop today but the bad news is it is a downgrade Laptop. I am supposed to get a 750 GB hard drive with Blue Ray DVD, but I only got a laptop with 500 GB hard drive and regular DVD.
Lenovo was the IBM PC line of business before it was sold to a company in China and they changed the time to Lenovo. This is the worst online purchase I have ever made in my life. I guess no more Thinkpad/Ideapad for the rest of my life.
