He visited Houston today and gtt an offer for 30 Mil for 4 years. (5 mil for the first 2 years and 10 mil for the last two years).
Knicks has the right to keep him if Knicks can match the offer from other teams. Knick may not be willing to do that due the NBA salary Cap which means Knicks will pay a luxuary tax if they offer him the same amount of money. (Knicks overpaid carmelo anthony and Amar'e Stoudemire and Tyson Chandler is a big dollars even he is worth it)
Personally, I think Lin should get the fuck out of NYC and find other team because he has a better chance to develop himself and make a 20+ points per game. He has no chances to do that if he continues to play for Knicks due to Melo.
I don't about the Houston Rocket. I had big hope on them when T-Back (T-mac: Tracy Mcgrady) and Yao Ming played together for Houston.
I paid $180 to get the NBA League Pass every year to watch Yao Ming playing but his injury gets him going nowhere. Yao is a great player and I do enjoy his games when he was healthy.
Let's see if Knicks would match Houstons' offer. Money shouldn't be a problem for Knicks, just ask Spike Lee to pay more money for his court-side seats. (I love Spike Lee, he is a funny guy)
