how much you pay for.
This is how it is supposed to work but apparently, it doesn't always work this way. My client pays a big money for its IT staff but some of my colleagues do a shitty job. If I am the IT head, I would fire 1/3 of IT staff. To be more precise, I think they should be facing a firing squad, not just losing their jobs.
We have a big deployment next Monday which we have to work with another vendor together. There are key components we just tested yesterday. Of course, there are certain features which don't work. This vendor is the "mini me" of our IT department which means they talk the talk and never walk the walk.
I don't know I should blame the Project Manager or the process. We use Agile process so, it is the Scrum Master not the Project Manager anymore. I was just wondering if the Agile is better than the old fashion "Water Fall" process. I feel sorry for our PM because some of my colleagues need to be supervised by 24/7 to get the job done. I give a nickname ZZN to of my coworkers; the reasons she gets this nickname is because she does Zero, Zilch, Nada before 5 PM a day and she goes home at 6.
