US soldiers dig in at Afghanistan and we dig out in DC. We got over 24 inches snow accumulations within 36 hours. I guess my neighborhood is the lucky one because there are so many areas without electricity which means no heating for over 24 hours in a subzero temperature. This is the biggest snow I haven't seen in a decade. I almost got a heart attack after shoveling half of my drive way. Thank God I found some Amigos, who are willing to make extra bucks, help me to finish the job. I guess I need to stop by Sears to get the most powerful snow blower tomorrow. I got a 4 by 4 SUV but the damn community hasn't ploughed road yet. So unless you got the US military’s version of Hummer, you are not going anywhere. We got a cabin fever of the 21st century in nation capital of US. Stay tuned, I may need you to send me some drinking water and toilet papers.
